For more than thirty years, solar car research, development and competition has advanced the capabilities of zero emissions vehicles. Solar car-related technologies are now sufficiently mature to enable the creation of a road legal, solar-powered passenger vehicle for daily, off-the-grid use.
Utilising all of our knowledge and experience, we are designing, engineering, prototyping and ultimately demonstrating what a truly
zero emissions electric vehicle can be: desirable, capable and fun.
This requires a different focus, as regulatory requirements, practical considerations and consumer preferences take priority over ultimate efficiency. Styling, handling and other attributes become significant factors in the design, engineering and development process.
